Sunset in the Woods

Nicole Stackpole Psychotherapy

I have spent the majority of my life submerged in the changing seasons of New England. Experiencing the visual reminders of the transforming environment has served as a catalyst in my personal and professional growth. Just as a leaf develops from a deep green to vibrant shades of orange, I believe that every person has to potential to shape their story from the inside out.

What is Therapy &
How Can You Benefit From It?

Therapy can look very different for different people. I believe that there is no “one size fits all” as no two people are exactly the same. I aim to create a safe space rich with empathy, compassion and unconditional positive regard where you can be your true self throughout the healing process. I use a strength-based approach, focusing on what you can do to develop positive coping skills and strategies for success. I encourage you to bring your interests and talents to our sessions, making our work collaborative.

Truth is –sometimes being in therapy can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be. I strive to find a balance between what is comfortable for you and and what is slightly outside of your comfort zone. Pushing that window of tolerance a little wider so you can see your journey through a clearer lens. While working together you may start to feel lighter, have more energy to tackle the day, feel more in control of your emotions and like you have a better sense of where you’re headed in life.
